Kotoko fans switch to tiGO

Loyal supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have obediently heeded to the call by the management of the club as well as Manhyia to patronize products of communication giants, tiGO, for Asante Kotoko to reap the sponsorship benefits in return.
Kotoko and tiGO “re-married” last week after years of separation.
The latest marriage was marked with a great ceremony in Kumasi over the weekend.
It was at the ceremony that the Otumfuo’s representative, Nana Akyempenhene, Oheneba Aduse-Poku, the Kotoko management and even Alhaji Karim Grunsah of King Faisal urged Kotoko supporters to patronize tiGO.
A day after the ceremony, the Kotoko Express found out that had it not been for the fact that another telecommunication operator was sponsoring the league, tiGO would have made great sales at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Several supporters were heard asking of where they could get tiGO SIM cards to buy so that they could switch to the new cellular experience and express themselves.
The supporters were amazed at the new beginning partnership between the two institutions and the beautiful products certain supporters had decorated themselves with.
Of course it was tiGO which gave the few fortunate ones who were present at the Golden Tulip those giveaways.
A fan was heard shouting on top of his voice to anybody who cared to hear
“Patronize tiGO, Kotoko supporters patronize tiGO if you want the team to move forward”.
When this reporter went closer and asked of the reasons, the man who mentioned his name as Charles Otuo-Acheampong replied “my brother why not? Kotoko is married to tiGO but a little misunderstanding made us to switch to another partner. It was during that marriage that we realized the original wife tiGO is the best so we have reconciled. Meanwhile the now divorced partner who even had another partner in Hearts of Oak should not be made to enjoy from us. Kotoko supporters should know that if you patronize tiGO, they get money to help Kotoko but any other venture, especially our former partners means you are equipping our opponents Hearts, to fight us”.
A lot more of the fans also congratulated the management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko for securing such a huge sponsorship package from tiGO and urged management to do more in getting additional sponsorships for the club.
