12th August 2008

West African officials from Mali will take charge of affairs in Sunday's CAF Confederation Cup group phase opening clash between Asante Kotoko and Etoile Sportive du Sahel in Tunisia.

Karembe Ousmane will direct affairs from the middle of the Group B clash billed for the Olympique Stadium in Sousse. The 36-year old will be assisted by compatriots, Diarra Balla and Bagagah Ibrahim.

Sidibe Ousmane will serve as the reserve referee while Libyan Jamal El Jaafari acts as the Match Commissioner. Asante Kotoko advanced to the group phase after beating Al-Ittihad of Libya.

The discipline put up by the players on the pitch make me not think about officials again. they play according to the whistle and they don't really get frustrated and angry if officiating does not augur well. I TRUST MY BOYZ, they will do it. PROVE TO THE WORLD THAT YOU ARE Professional, BOYZ!
