Ashanti Circles’ prayer group donates to Children’s Home

In fulfilment of their pledge to God to change the fortunes of Kotoko and make them do well when things got tough in the 2008/9 season’s league, members of the Ashanti Regional Circles Prayer group have donated to inmates of the Kumasi Children’s Home.

Led by their leader, Pastor Stephen Akowuah, the group presented food items and confessionary to the inmates who find themselves in that predicament through no fault of theirs.

Before handing over the items, they interacted with a few of the inmates present and offered prayers for their sustenance and safety.

The items presented were a 25kg bag of rice, 5lts of cooking oil, 2 dozens of toilet rolls, a packet of biscuit, 2 packets of toffee and 9 sachets of filtered water.

Other member of the prayer group are Hon. Maxwell Amankwah, Mama Afranie,, Elder Owusu Adomako and Mr. Nketia.

The Prayer Group meets at the premises of the Ashanti Regional house of chiefs every Friday night for all night prayer sessions for the club.
