Players of Kessben FC
were seen doing rituals before the match to
symbolically lock their goal post. After being served with a 2-0
defeat, do you believe such things are relevant in modern day
football?

i
dont really believed in juju in
football, the most important is to train very well and to let ur
tactics work well on ur opponent
Osei-Kofi Abunyuwa. Duisburg, Germany
This shows how backward we are in modern day football
when the teams believe in those things, like locking the goal
post with their so called juju. They must train, learn and play
tactical football to win a game as juju does not play football
on the pitch, and with whose legs ?. Move on Fabulous Asante
Kotoko. The BEST.

It is not new to our game. Do not believe these acts of
unsporting behaviour as brought to our game by Kessben FC
players. All the 16 clubs are guilty of same offence and it is
time the GFA stands on her feet to eradicate these 'nonsense'
from our game. Whether yes or no juju exit in our game but does
not determine the final results. We in Kotoko must erase these
ungodly act from our mind and run our club Professionally. The
likes of Bekoe and co swept all trophies last two seasons Where
now is the juju man and pastor? With a good coach, good
recruitment, better pre-season and a sound management to pay
better salaries and bonuses Kotoko would be unstoppable. Kotoko
needs a new vision to catch Ahly and co if we should sit down
here battling Aduanas, Kessbens and Arsenal because juju is
planted elsewhere we'll sit at zero for our class mates(Ahly and
Zamalek) to rule Africa and proudly we'll praise ourselves 'best
club of the century' but where will this generation take us in
the next 10 yrs. Let all be serious to help the club to regain
her right status. We need gifted and committed players cross
Africa to play. We need a board who then appoint CEO run to
Kotoko. Undisputed juju is obvious in football but let our
attention be on proper planning, good training kits, enough
camping, discipline, attractive salaries and bonuses and l can
assure you Hearts will plant whatever, Kessben and co will
travel length and breath yet Kotoko will overcome them.

Kessben should know that with Almighty GOD all things possible. So
they should not think that they can do rituals to stop kotoko from
beating them.Thank GOD that we beat them whith all thir rituals or
whatever they did befqre the match.KOTOKO WILL BEAT THEM ANY TIME
WE MEET THEM.GOD BLESS KOTOKO ALL THE TIME AMEN.

We thank God for this victory and wish the Fabulous Asante Kotoko
team good luck in the second round of the Glo Premier League
season

This is a question Sarfo Gyamfi has to answer.
Paa Kwesi & his assistant Yaw Acheampong is not a good for Kotoko.
They should go. The kind of football we are playing now is not
Kotoko. Paa Kwesi is clueless.
Oppong Kyekyeku, Accra
A TIME HAS COME FOR KOTOKO TO DO AWAY WITH THESE THINGS AND THINK
OF WHAT WE CAN DO. HEARTS ALWAYS DO THIS TO BEAT KOTOKO'S
IMAGINATION IE JUST TO THRUST THEM. THOSE TIMES HAS PAST. TEAMS
STILL HAVE IN MIND THAT KOTOKO FEAR THOSE THINGS AND SO TAKE
ADVANTAGE OF ALL KINDS OF WAYS AND MEANS WHICH IN THEIR MINDS DOES
NOT EXIST BUT JUST TO THREAT KOTOKO. THIS KIND OF SIGNS ALWAYS
HAPPEN IN FOOTBALL. IS NOT NEW. THEY WERE DOING NOTHING IN THE
POST ACCORDING TO ME. KOTOKO AT THIS TIME SHOULD TRY AND IGNORE
SUCH THINGS AND PREPARE WELL FOR OUR MATCHES. BY THE WAY THANKS TO
KOTOKO FOR BEATING KESSBEN IN THE 1ST MATCH OF THE 2ND
ROUND. FABULOUS, ALWAYS THE BEST.
Nathanael, Agona-Ashanti
they just give psychological advantage. football is played on the
field. If you play well, you will win.
Abobosiki,asuoyeboa
It's a shame, i hope these things wont happen again.
Osei Sampene, Oberhausen-Germany
Such practices are done to confuse the opposing side. It has no
effect on the match. The players should bear in mind that God is
with everyone, it needs the individual effort to progress so
please my dear players of Kotoko FC put up your own individual
efforft and be discipline tactically and don't be confused about
this act.
Ansah, P.O. Box 337, Kumasi

In this modern world, where team selection is based on fitness
rather than names...
Please, tell these modern-day footballers to be a little bit
'modern' and stop this primitive practices. The best they can do
is to pray to God that none of the 22 players on the field do not
get injured, PERIOD.
manfred, chairman, circle 188,qatar,Doha.
the game of football will be rituals laden until thy kingdom come.
what kessben did is nothing new, others do worse than this. Is up
to the club kotoko to strengthen itself spiritually and the GFA/PLB
to be up and doing with the laws.
kwadwo antwi,
WHY ARE THE TEAM THESE DAYS USING DRUGS TO PLAY FOOTBALL,IT SI NOT
GOOD FOR THE PLAYERS OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT HELP THEM IN THEIR NEAR
FUTURE SA THEY WANT TO GO.
