Merreikh coach tips Kotoko& his side for decider

 

Michael Kruger, the German coach of Sudanese side, El Merreikh, has wished Kumasi Asante Kotoko well and urged the Porcupine Warriors to do their best to defeat Etoile du Sahel when they come to play in Kumasi.
 
Merreikh lost to Etoile last weekend but the coach told Kotoko Express on phone that the group was still open and predicted that the winner of the group will be decided in the match between Kotoko and Merreikh in Khartoum.
 
The coach told Kotoko Express that all the clubs in the Group are very strong but after Kotoko has chalked a 3-1 victory over JSK, he is convinced the Ghanaian club is the only club standing between his side and qualification.
 
“We have done our calculations very well and as everyone is winning his home matches, I feel our final home match against Kotoko will be the decider".
 
"Kotoko could be lucky in Algeria but my concern is that they should beat Etoile in Kumasi, while we also try to be lucky in our match. That means the final game will be important to us all”, Coach Kruger said.

the current attitude put up by some of the players is uncalled for. i therefore urge the disciplinary unit of the club take measures against that and the necessary punishment meted out to deserving casualties. I also wish them good luck in the rest of their matches, all is not lost as they can still top the group. its going to be a drawn game against mereikh in sudan if they to the advice of the coach

I suggest that mgt. should do well to get Harison Aful to strengthen the defends of the team and also recruit a potent striker to help Bekoe. It shall be well for us next season. God bless KOTOKO. May the soul of the supporters who died during the match rest in peace.
